Alexis Jansen
19 years old
Hi I am Alexis Jansen I am 19 years old turning 20 in September 2007. I am one of 5 children and we have a single mother. I live in Knysna, a beautiful town on the coast of the Western province. It was hard to understand why I could not have all the things my friends had, but yet I had to accept the fact that we were poor. I set myself a dream that my kids will have all the things I didn’t so I work really hard at school to get good marks so that I can have a good job.
Being at Eden Campus is a big privilege for me. It is the perfect opportunity for me to get where I want to. We still have to develop a lot but in time we will. I love being here, and I love my fellow students. We are one BIG happy family.
